Photo: Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad/printed by Gusdorf-Warren Printing Company, Chicago. — Brochure issued by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad to announce the Pioneer Zephyr's entry into regular passenger service. Prior to this, the train had been on various public exhibition tours throughout the United States after making its historic Denver to Chicago run in May 1934. The brochure front was also produced by the railroad as a poster which it would distribute in towns and cities the Zephyr would visit on its "goodwill" tours, with the city and dating information pertinent for each stop.
